Remembrance Sunday Parade 2015

8 November 2015

As usual, the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will be taking part in the annual Remembrance Sunday Parade on Sunday 8th November.

There will be two parades – one in Rawcliffe and one in Snaith. We would like all Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to attend and further details will be sent home with your child from their next section meeting but please make a note of the date now.

As a mark of respect, full smart uniform should be worn including shoes and trousers and, of course, a poppy. Jeans and trainers are not suitable for this occasion. For Scouts, uniform “activity trousers” with the uniform belt would be preferred with school trousers as an alternative. Warm clothing should be worn under uniforms if possible as we will parade without coats for the short time that we are outside, unless the weather is particularly wet or cold.

We thank you in advance for your support and look forward to seeing a good turnout.
