District Activity Day and St George’s Day Service

18 April 2016

Blacktoft Beacon District is holding St George’s day service and activity day at Beverley Racecourse on Sunday 24th April 2016. The event is open to all scouting members fro our district. This is a great opportunity for the scouts to try new activities and meet other scouts in the area. In the afternoon there will be a parade across the racecourse followed by a short service for St George’s day will bring the day to a close.

1st Snaith will be attending this event and the plan is to travel by coach leaving the sports hall at 9:00am with a pickup in Rawcliffe. We will be returning for around 4:30pm. The cost for the day will be £6 to help towards the cost of the coach and entry into the event. Everyone will travel in full uniform but will need a change of clothes for the activities, which should include warm jumpers and waterproofs to cover all eventualities. A packed lunch and a drink will also be needed.

We hope that everyone will be able to attend what promises to be a great day out.

If your child wishes to attend then please return the form attached to the slip handed to them, along with payment, by 6th April to your section leader.
